GOVERNORS ISLAND ARTS RESIDENCY

See you in 2026!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first inaugural season on Governors Island! We are so grateful for our artist and organization collaborators, who helped us create an array of ART-venturous programs and shared with us your passion for the arts and community. We are extremely proud to have provided Pacific Island artists a space to gather and showcase our creative excellence, while hosting collaborators of all backgrounds from the DU community.

We can’t wait to unveil our 2nd season in May 2026 — bigger, better, and more ART-venturous than ever!

Upcoming Programs:

Join our inaugural YAC - free, leadership program for school-age students (between ages 10–18) to guide local arts organizations, plan youth-focused events, and gain career experience in the arts. The YAC program runs from May 16th - August 31st, 20216, offering mentoring, arts marketing experience, and community service. Monthly meetings at our open house events on 3rd Saturdays are required, as well as virtual meet-ups for event planning and mentorship sessions.
