Pre-registration is required at least half an hour before each class. A reminder email will be emailed to you 30 minutes before class. Donations are highly appreciated so we can keep the online platform running. Our teachers are compensated regardless of your ability to donate.

About the Instructor

Melanie Aguirre a native New Yorker, Co-founder of Rep Your Style and young community leader in NYC. Melanie provides the  NYC Dance community with dance competitions, community discussions, charity fundraisers, workshops and job placement. She teaches multiple styles within the tri-state area, nationally and internationally.  She creatively directs theatrical performances and museum tours. She was selected in 2017 to do a cultural exchange in Paris France at La Place Hip Hop cultural center. In 2018 was selected by Next Level, Meridian International Center and the US State Department as a Hip Hop Ambassador to travel to Turkey for cultural exchange. With the different avenues of outreach, she leads by example to inspire creativity.

Class Description 

Melanie Aguirre is a dance coach and professional performer for 16 years. With her experience, she has created an integrated balance in mind, body and spiritual awareness. Providing tools of foundation, jazz technique, patterns, character development, storytelling, and truth-seeking. She is the first Generation waacking resurgence since 2002 and continues to share the love ITS THE BROOKLYN WAY.
